This is my ninth year of writing up the status of my writing – see 2014<\/a>, 2015<\/a>, 2016<\/a>, 2017<\/a>, 2018<\/a>, 2019<\/a>, 2020<\/a>, and 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In January my supernatural lighthouse short story, “Keeper of the Light”, was published in the Dark Scotland<\/a> anthology from Darkstroke Books<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year I wrote a sci-fi short story “Call of the Void” which has been shortlisted for the Aliens and Otherness<\/em> anthology from Space Cat Press, and will (with any luck) see publication some time in 2022.<\/p>\n

My children’s books are still in print and selling in small numbers (although sales are a bit better this year than last year in the depths of lockdown).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
