My sci-fi short story “The Galileo Trap” has now been published in the Leicester Writes Short Story Prize Anthology 2026.

I’m delighted that my story made the longlist and was included in the anthology, especially since for this tenth and final year submissions were open to previous longlisted writers only, so the competition was pretty fierce.

Many thanks to Farhana for all her work over the years of the prize, and while this is the final year, it looks like it’s going out with a bang.
